This brochure explores a central concept: the censorship faced by women and their resilience in the textile world. Their resilience enabled them to play a key role in the industry and textile art. The idea of typographic transparency lies at the heart of the design. By using typography to play with transparency and illegibility, the project echoes the notion of censorship. The chosen typeface, Azeret Mono, is a monospaced font inspired by 1990s operating systems and interfaces. Its technical and modern style reflects the spirit of the project: a fusion of history, design, and symbolism.
