As I grow older, I become increasingly aware of the importance of the cultural heritage passed down to me. I now recognize the profound impact this heritage has had on my own identity. This series of images illustrates how I perceive my grandparents: a vision filled with love, gratitude, and pride. It highlights Oanh Nguyen and Lam Nguyen, parents of two children and grandparents of six grandchildren. Originally from Vietnam, they immigrated to Montreal at the age of 35, in the challenging post-war context.
